I started my journey of Yoga more than 30 years ago. I joined the Bihar School of Yoga to pursue an M.Sc. in Applied Yogic Science. Having been born in Munger, the city of Yoga, I was inclined to learn about Yoga and its benefits from a very young age.

I started my journey of Yoga more than 30 years ago. I joined the Bihar School of Yoga to pursue an M.Sc. in Applied Yogic Science. Having been born in Munger, the city of Yoga, I was inclined to learn about Yoga and its benefits from a very young age. The Yoga taught in Bihar School of Yoga is an integrated, holistic system of yoga that seamlessly incorporates both ancient wisdom with new scientific understanding. It is a contemporary yoga of synthesis aimed at the complete development of the personality. It was a unique experience to be in the company of so many learned teachers and Swamiji who had acquired deep knowledge through years of practice and meditation. I have done intensive research on Stress Management (Psycho- Physiological effects of Asanas, Pranayama, Shatkarma, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra). Adapting ancient yoga techniques and yoga postures to suit contemporary lifestyle requirements, Swami Satyananda Saraswati founded the Bihar School of Yoga in 1956. Swami Satyananda is one of the foremost disciples of Swami Sivananda Saraswati founder of Divine Life Society at Rishikesh. The school is currently being guided under the auspice of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. The Bihar School of Yoga has evolved our unique spiritual heritage of India into a body of authentic practices. This tradition of yoga is known as Bihar Yoga or Satyananda Yoga. Under the guidance of my Guru, I studied yoga intensively – the various forms of yoga like Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga. I have been associated with various organizations and individuals in India and abroad. I have been guiding the employees of various corporations in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR about RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury), DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), Healthy Lifestyle, and mindfulness training.
